I believe this is made exclusively for Vintage Cellars by Mornington Peninsula guru Sandro Mosele – but I could be wrong. There’s always a first. And on that smug note let’s get straight to the wine.
A mélange of citrus with some white peach and something I can only describe as meringue on the nose. Tastes of honeyed lemon, fresh citrus and peach before segueing into savoury territory with a bit of fennel on exit.
It’s not endowed with tremendous length but there’s some appeal here. Maybe not $30 of appeal but some appeal nonetheless. Good
