2007 Stella Bella Cabernet Merlot

Margaret River 14.0% Screwcap $32 Source: Sample

This may well be an easy wine to describe…or I could be more talented than I thought.

Blackberries, cigar & general leaf, gravel and black olives marinated in herbs.  All of this is shot through with redcurrants. Plush yet completely centered. Excellent Cabernet tannins extends through a very long finish. Quality French oak adds texture and chocolate.  Regional, expressive and serious – not to mention very delicious. It’s the whole package and the price is right. Cellar some if you can, it’ll get even better.

End of note.  The wine will do most of the talking.

You're underestimating the impact of olives & cigar leaf in court :)
