2013 Ten Minutes by Tractor 10X Sauvignon Blanc

imageTexture is the hook here. Seven months in old French barriques, partial malo and lees stirring lend a yielding, creamy overlay to fine acidity.

Grassy as much as herbaceous. A light whiff of smoke and vanilla. Runs the full spectrum flavour wise. Lemon curd and citrus to tropical insinuations; dragon fruit, gooseberry and understated Bethonga pineapple. Tannin is well judged and exhibits elegance. A touch of cleansing granitic minerality refreshes on the back-palate. Intelligently put together. 91
