More Tumbarumba magic from Eden Road winemaker Nick Spencer. Lower altitude vineyard. Nougat oak immediately noticeable after the Courabyra Chardonnay but it’s not overplayed. More expansively fruited.
Intense white peach, green pear and melon with blanched almonds and basil. Rounder and fuller in the mouth with minor pithy notes and very gentle spice. The very modern model of restraint. A wine with a sense of decorum and manners. 94+
