2013 Teusner The Wark Family Shiraz

imageThe grapes for this wine were sourced from a vineyard planted in 1995 within the Stonewell subregion of the Barossa.

A little raspberry coulis sitting over the plums and black fruits here. Spicier (baking spice and pepper) and sweeter than the Riebke. Ever so slightly less body and more pronounced acidity. Red strap licorice is strong through the finish. I’m not certain there’s anything much to separate this couple in terms of quality but I’ll take the darker and saltier one. 89
