Quintessential McLaren Vale Shiraz executed with aplomb. If you like the style you’ll like the wine.
Mulberries, blackberries and plums exhibit the vitality expected from the vintage. Regional milk chocolate, earthy spice and fair clip of malty mocha oak. Plenty of flavour but no soupiness. The acidity is well judged and keeps things humming along nicely until grainy tannin takes hold. Decant for now. It should do well over the medium-term in a cool, dark place. 91
