Good value drinking from Trentham Estate. It’s what they do best.
Blackcurrants, chocolate, licorice and olives with some basic polished floorboard and spice barrel (or stave?) influence. It isn’t a refined wine by any means but at the price it offers ample flavour and deserves consideration. 87
