2013 Willow Bridge Drangonfly Rosé

willow brideg roseThis is a nifty little Rosé for $17. Has a bit of interest going for it. It’s a blend of 55% Sangiovese, 25% Tempranillo and 20% Merlot. An odd mix on paper but it comes together nicely in the glass.

Smells of sour cherries, brown grass and black spice with a very subtle note of earth. Citrusy acidity with a bit of give on the mid-palate before a dry, crisp peppery finish. Hits the spot. 89

  1. Did you get all the new releases from Willow Bridge Jeremy?

  2. Just noticed your notes on the other whites…

Reds? Cab Merlot and Shiraz were excellent last vintage – waiting to pull the trigger on the 2012′s..

  3. Have all the new Dragonfly series here. Will check in on the 2012 Shiraz again tonight but it looks excellent for the price – my pick of those tasted so far. Will hopefully get a chance to taste the 2012 Cabernet Merlot tomorrow.
