Covered in bling as the Brown Brothers Patricia Noble Riesling often is. I don’t like this as much as the 2006 but it’s still a darn impressive wine. 215g/l residual sugar but it’s well-balanced with citrus-like acidity so you only have to worry about your teeth and your waistline.
Very complex. Cumquat, marmalade, honey on toast, lemon zest, baked stonefruits and pressed flowers all waft from the glass as well as being present on a palate with plenty of depth and caramel concentration. Hangs around on the finish too. 93 Very Good
