2010 Ten Minutes by Tractor Estate Pinot Noir

Somewhat brash and a bit of brawler, this Estate Pinot from Ten Minutes by Tractor possesses a fair degree of power. Give it a decant or a good swirl in the glass and any alcohol related heat will quickly blow off.

It’s quite outrageously perfumed. Cherry blossom, lipstick, crab apple, forest floor and five spice let rip and the palate follows in a similar manner. It’s forward but it’s not all sweetness. Sour cherries and that sous-bois take care of that. No need to cellar this I wouldn’t reckon, although a short stint lying down would probably do it some good. Either way, pair it with something a little rich and decadent – like the wine itself. Good – Very Good
