I reckon De Bortoli’s Yarra Valley Estate Grown Pinot Noir Rosé is already entrenched in the upper echelon of Australian Rosés. It has a distinctive and individual profile; very pale, very dry, unforced, structured, textured and long. May its influence be pervasive…

This is cherried and spicy with a hint of mandarin peel thrown in for good measure. The palate is pippy then slightly creamy before settling into a composed and assured finish. For a wine of such poise it’s decidedly easy to drink without any real thought. Very Good
