2011 Tahbilk Viognier

I’m happy enough with this Viognier from Tahbilk but I’d be happier still if the RRP was a little lower. Mind you, Tahbilk always have excellent offers if you shop direct.

Not an opulent example of the variety by any means. Peach, lemon and apricot are the dominant players and it exhibits a pleasingly floral fragrance. Oak is underplayed and low level spice components come to the fore on exit. Perhaps not quite of the standard of  recent releases but a handy wine nonetheless. Average – Good
